Research Interests:
1. Structural studies of model membrane systems using various neutron and x-ray scattering techniques, and optical microscopy.
2. Morphologies of magnetically alignable lipid bilayers composed of DMPC, DHPC and paramagnetic ions.
3. Determination of functional domains (i.e., rafts) in model membranes.
4. Structural determination of lipopolysaccharides under various ionic conditions.
5. Determination of structure and location of peptides in lipids bilayers using neutron scattering.
