Current research project:
I am doing network modeling to study the epidemic of AIDS in a population. Using network models is a way to study the effects of the relationship structure of a population on properties of the spread of epidemic diseases, and also to formalize and quantify different concepts of it. These theoretical investigations are carried out in order to guide interventions so that they will be more efficient. In my studies, the relation between condom usage and the spread of AIDS in a population model is considered.
